AAU and other organizations that advocate for protecting and expanding the Pell Grant supporters program joined a recent letter thanking both Senate and House Appropriations Committee members for their bipartisan support of increased Pell increased Pell Grant funding. However, with the Fiscal Responsibility Act in place, the letter also urges Congress “to ensure that funding dedicated to the Pell Grant program remains within Pell Grants and is not used to fill budget gaps in other programs.”
