The Coalition for National Science Funding sent a letter to congressional leadership highlighting their priorities in FY21 conference discussions. 
The Task Force on American Innovation sent a letter to House and Senate appropriations leaders urging them to include increased investments for science and technology research and development in FY21 appropriations.
Reps. G. K. Butterfield (D-NC) and Rep. David McKinley (R-WV) are circulating a bipartisan “dear colleague” letter to urge House leaders to provide $3 billion in research relief funding for the NSF. The requested funding parallels the authorization included in H.R. 7308/S. 4286, the “Research Investment to Spark the Economy Act (RISE) Act.”

The Endless Frontier Act aims to fund research, technology transfer, and workforce in 10 “key technology areas” defined in the bill.

AAU joined CNSF and 165 organizations, sent a letter to congressional science appropriators to request they set Commerce-Justice-Science appropriations funding equal to or greater than FY20 levels.
NSF is focused on fundamental, interdisciplinary, and ground-breaking research and education needed to ensure that the U.S. remains at the forefront of science and innovation in the decades ahead.
