Yale University STEM Education Initiatives

Yale University continues to foster innovative approaches to STEM Education with a focus on pedagogical advancement initiatives and the development of comprehensive learning resources. Efforts include consultations and grant opportunities for faculty, online bridge programs for incoming undergraduates, graduate student and postdoctoral teaching development programs, workshops/conferences with other institutions to engage a range of teachers, and undergraduate research opportunities in an exotic location. Yale also provides broad teaching support to faculty, postdocs, and graduate students via the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). Yale’s CTL offers classroom observations, technology workshops, seminars on diversity and inclusion, meetings with science and quantitative reasoning tutors, and global online learning opportunities via Coursera. Yale has demonstrated, and will continue to demonstrate, a commitment to STEM education.
