The Coalition for National Science Funding sent a letter to congressional leadership highlighting their priorities in FY21 conference discussions. 
AAU joined ACE and 99 other associations on a letter to House and Senate leaders outlining the harmful impacts of the pandemic on students and college and requesting they work quickly to finalize negotiations on pandemic relief that provides at least $120 billion to students and campuses.

AAU joined 23 other higher education associations to file two amicus briefs supporting litigation filed in Northern California’s federal court to enjoin the both the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) H1B Visa Rule and the Department of Labor (DOL) Wage Rule
A group of 50 Democratic members of Congress sent comments to DHS to express concern that the rule would “introduce needless administrative paperwork into an already overburdened system without meaningfully improving program integrity.”
The Compete America Coalition, of which AAU is a member, sent a letter to USCIS in response to the recent duration of status NPRM.
