The Merit Fellows Program is an S-STEM grant funded by the National Science Foundation. Merit fellows are selected after a rigorous application process and interview during their freshman year. The intention of the Merit Fellows Program is to provide support, including financial) to students in their major and career pursuits, and create a cohort of STEM leaders within the departments of chemistry, integrative biology, and mathematics.
