AAU President Mary Sue Coleman sent a letter to party leadership in both the House and Senate thanking them for their efforts to reach an FY18 funding agreement that raises defense and non-defense discretionary spending caps. She also urged Congress to use the budget agreement to revitalize the government-university partnership and encouraged a renewed focus on providing permanent legal status for DACA registrants and Dreamers.
