This is the AAU summary of the H.R. 2471, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, which will fund the federal government until the end of the fiscal year, ending September 30, 2022.
The bill provides $1.5 trillion in discretionary spending. In total, the 12 annual bills provide: $730 billion in nondefense funding, a $46 billion – 6.7%– increase over FY21; and $782 billion in defense funding, a $42 billion – 5.6% – increase over FY21. In addition, the omnibus package includes $13.6 billion in aid to Ukraine.
