AAU, along with other higher education organizations, joined a letter led by ACE to Chairwoman Granger (R-TX) and Ranking member DeLauro (D-CT) of the House Committee on Appropriations expressing “deep concerns regarding the funding levels proposed in the fiscal year (FY) 2024 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS-Education) funding bill.” The letter asks “that the subcommittee’s allocation be set to the highest level possible under the current statutory cap.”
