Updated Science & Security Talking Points
In follow up to last week’s CFR meeting, AAU staff have updated the Science & Security talking points document which can be found online here.
Resource Pages
As a reminder, the AAU website has two pages dedicated to Science & Security. The first is the public-facing key issues page that houses letters, statements and publicly available resources to help educate key external audiences and outside stakeholders on this critical topic. The second is a members-only resource page that requires AAU login credentials to access. This page features a legislation table, talking points, primers, reports, case studies, and other helpful tools to equip AAU members with relevant background information and up-to-date resources. Recent resource page additions include a chart of current research security controls and a link to the 122+ CUI categories.
Science & Security Listserv
If you have not yet signed up for the AAU Science & Security listserv, you can join the email list here by clicking the blue “Apply for Membership in this Group” button. Once you have entered your email address and hit “confirm,” AAU will approve the request. You will then receive a confirmation email that contains a link to activate your listserv access. The listserv was created for CFR members and SROs to share information including relevant policy updates, agency-specific guidance, news articles, and effective practices. Beginning next Friday, AAU will send weekly emails to the listserv highlighting recent updates and articles.
AAU Staff Contacts
As we continue to develop member resources and share legislative developments, please do not hesitate to contact Toby Smith, Hanan Saab or Meredith Asbury directly with suggestions, clarifying questions, or new intel.
