The Coalition for National Security Research, of which AAU is a member, sent a letter to request increased funding in FY21 for Defense Science and Technology program and select program elements that “drive innovations to ensure continued global U.S. military technological superiority.” The coalition requests robust funding increases for programs including: Defense S&T; defense basic research program elements, including University Research Initiatives and the Minerva Research Initiative; defense applied research program elements; Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency; and defense medical research.
