AAU joined the Supporters of Agricultural Research (SoAR) Foundation, of which AAU is a member, in a letter urging Congress to provide $445 million for AFRI in FY20. The letter argues this level of funding "will support research that strengthens rural economies, improves public health, and enhances our ability to compete in a global economy for generations to come."
