AAU and 36 other higher education associations sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) urging expeditious review and processing for all DACA renewal applications.
The associations strongly encouraged the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to give prompt attention to renewal requests that have recently expired or will expire in the coming days and weeks. The letter also called for a meeting of the Homeland Security Academic Advisory Council to discuss these and other important issues.
