AAU, ASSOCIATIONS SEND LETTER TO USCIS ON H-1B REGISTRATION TOOL
AAU – together with fourteen other organizations representing a broad cross-section of U.S. employers, immigration practitioners, higher education institutions, and the general employment-based immigration community – recently sent a letter to USCIS acting director Ken Cuccinelli. The letter responded to the recent USCIS decision on electronic registration for the FY21 H-1B cap filing season and stakeholder engagement for the H-1B registration tool. In the letter, the organizations requested that USCIS confirm if the system must be used for the FY21 H-1B cap filing season beginning April 1, 2020 and asked the agency to solicit additional stakeholder feedback.
