The Association of American Universities Invites You to a Briefing on AI-Enabled Science

WHAT:The Association of American Universities (AAU), in coordination with the Congressional Research and Development Caucus, will be hosting a congressional briefing with stakeholders from America’s leading research universities, national laboratories, and industry to discuss the path ahead for discovery science enabled by artificial intelligence. Topics will include actions that Congress and the administration can take to ensure American scientists and engineers deploy AI tools to:

• Accelerate the pace of experimentation and discovery;
• Catalyze the search for cures;
• Open new pathways for scientific inquiry and technological progress; and
• Improve the U.S. position in the global race for scientific advantage.
