AAU joined ACE and eleven other associations to send a letter to Chairman Johnson and Ranking Member Peters of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs with concerns regarding S. 3997, the “Safeguarding American Innovation Act.” The letter expresses continued concern with several provisions including Section 5, 6, and 7 of the legislation and encourages the committee to work closely with the Senate HELP committee on changes to Section 117 and amending the HEA.
