Associate Vice President for Federal Relations
Mollie Benz Flounlacker has served at AAU since January 2000. As the Associate Vice President for Federal Relations, she has primary responsibilities for higher education funding, policy, and tax issues, including accreditation, student aid, college affordability, charitable giving, endowments, and Department of Education international education programs.
Prior to working at AAU, Ms. Flounlacker was a legislative assistant for Maryland State Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr.
Ms. Flounlacker earned Bachelor of Arts degree in government at The College of William and Mary and a Master of Arts degree in higher education administration and public policy from The George Washington University.
