Hanna joined AAU in August 2022. As the Policy Assistant, she supports the Science Policy and International Issues department in various areas including immigration and science and security policy.
Kate Hudson has served at AAU since March 2022. As the Associate Vice President and Counsel for Policy and Federal Relations, her portfolio includes intellectual property, technology transfer, open and public access, data privacy, and copyright issues.
Supports the federal relations department and various federal relations-related AAU task forces, working groups, meetings, and activities.
Meredith has served at AAU since July 2015. As Senior Policy Officer, Meredith is responsible for policy projects and assisting with federal relations activities relating to visas and immigration, science and security, technology transfer, economic development/engagement, and regulatory reform.
Tobin (Toby) Smith oversees matters related to science and innovation policy, broader impacts of science, and AAU’s international activities.
