This document is intended as a resource for College and University decision-makers as they determine which activities to undertake on their campuses related to understanding and preventing sexual assault and misconduct.
The following case studies offer examples of campus activity now underway to better inform universities about sexual assault and sexual misconduct on campus, and to affect change:
Surveys: Columbia University
The universities that responded to the Campus Activities Survey differ in key characteristics. Some are public, others private, and others are Canadian institutions. They vary in the size of the student body, ratio of undergraduates to graduate students, and number of faculty and staff.
Combating sexual assault and misconduct on campus is a complex and on-going process. As illustrated in this report, institutions are taking a multi-pronged approach and utilizing different data collection, response, and training and educational methods.
