Task Force on American Innovation

The Task Force on American Innovation, a coalition of businesses, trade associations, scientific societies, and higher education, was founded in 2004 to advocate greater federal investments for basic research in the physical sciences and engineering.

The Task Force urges strong, sustained increases for research budgets at the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy Office of Science, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Department of Defense.

The Task Force was formerly called The Task Force on the Future of American Innovation
