FY07 Budget and Appropriations

AAU tracks the federal budget by fiscal year, with a focus on the annual appropriations for specific research and education agencies. The materials on this page are for Fiscal Year 2007 (FY07). Materials from other fiscal years can be accessed from links provided.

For each fiscal year, AAU prepares an overview of the Administration’s proposed budget when it is released in early February, with detailed analyses of the proposed budgets for specific research and education agencies.

Through the year, AAU follows the progress of the congressional budget resolution and the appropriations bills that cover agencies and programs of interest. AAU provides summaries of markups of each appropriations bill, budget tables, correspondence, statements, and advocacy materials.
