Mollie Benz Flounlacker
Mollie has been at the Association of American Universities (AAU) since 2001. As Associate Vice President for Federal Relations, she is responsible for higher education policy. She staffs the Higher Education Task Force and serves as the project manager for the AAU Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct. She has primary responsibility for all issues related to the Department of Education, including accreditation student aid policy, college affordability, campus sexual assault, and graduate education.
Prior to working at AAU, Ms. Flounlacker was a legislative assistant for Maryland State Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr.
Ms. Flounlacker earned Bachelor of Arts degree in government at The College of William and Mary and a Master of Arts degree in higher education administration and public policy from The George Washington University.
