Also responsible for Department of Defense research policy and funding and formonitoring tax issues of interest to AAU universities. |

Responsible for issues related to the Department of Homeland Security, NASA, the National Science Foundation, and visas/international students. Also shares responsibility for monitoring export control issues. |

Associate Vice President for Federal Relations
Responsible for physical sciences and engineering policy and funding, and for matters relating to innovation and competitiveness. Has primary responsibility for issues related to the Department of Energy and shares responsibility for matters concerning export controls, openness and security, technology transfer and research costs. |

Partners Coordinator
Supports the public affairs staff and coordinates the Partners program, and plans the Public Affairs Network (PAN) meeting and the Partners meeting at the membership meetings. Also coordinates the AAU Intern Program. |

Responsible for the all logistic planning and on-site management of the bi-annual membership meeting and the CFR Retreat. Plan all logistical aspects of the constituent group meetings, CFR monthly meetings, and various ad-hoc and in-town meetings and events. |
